Getting started with Flowarden

Last updated 25 August 2026

Flowarden turns the recurring charges buried in your bank feed into a single, reviewable list — then helps you cancel, downgrade, or renegotiate what you no longer want.

Set up in five minutes

1. Create your account and confirm your email address.

2. Connect a bank or card account. The connection is read-only: Flowarden can see transactions, never move money.

3. Wait for the first sync. Most institutions return 12–24 months of history within a couple of minutes.

4. Review the detected subscriptions. Confirm the real ones, dismiss the false positives, and add anything paid outside a connected account.

5. Turn on renewal alerts so nothing renews without warning.

What you get on day one

- A dated renewals calendar for every confirmed subscription.

- Price-change history for merchants that have raised their rates.

- A savings ledger that records every cancellation and negotiated discount.

- Trial Shield, Concierge, Auto-Pilot, and AI insights according to your plan.

Good to know

- Detection improves as history accumulates; annual subscriptions may take a full cycle to surface.

- Nothing is cancelled automatically. Every action requires your explicit confirmation.

- You can use Flowarden without a bank connection by adding subscriptions manually, though detection and price tracking will be limited.

If something looks wrong

Check the sync status on your connections page first — a stale or errored item is the most common cause of missing subscriptions. If the feed is healthy and a charge is still missing, contact support with the merchant name and approximate date.
