They are not issued by any bank, are not backed by any funds, and will be declined by any real payment processor's $0.00 / $1.00 authorization check. Do not use them to attempt purchases or to evade legitimate billing — that violates merchants' terms of service and may violate applicable law.
Intended use. QA and developer testing only. If you need a real virtual card that can be used at checkout (with spend controls and merchant locking), full bank-issued virtual cards are on the roadmap via an issuing partner.
