Account, profile, and notifications

Your profile controls how Flowarden identifies you, where alerts are delivered, and which currency and timezone your renewals are calculated in.

Profile settings

- Name and email. Changing your email requires confirmation from the new address; the old address keeps working until the change is verified.

- Timezone. Renewal dates and alert timing are calculated in this timezone. Set it correctly or renewal reminders may arrive a day early or late.

- Currency. Determines how the savings ledger and spend totals are displayed. Transactions in other currencies are converted at the rate on the transaction date.

Notification preferences

- Renewal reminders. Choose how many days ahead of a charge you are warned.

- Price-change alerts. Sent when a merchant charges more than the previous cycle beyond a small tolerance.

- Trial expiry alerts. Sent before a free trial converts to a paid plan.

- Product and digest email. Optional. Turning this off never disables security or billing email — those are transactional and always delivered.

- Change your password from Settings, then review active sessions and revoke any you do not recognise.

- Enable two-factor authentication before adding a bank connection.

- Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible; export your data first.

Troubleshooting

If alerts stop arriving, check the spam folder, confirm the address is verified, and confirm the notification type is still enabled. Enterprise mail filters occasionally quarantine the first message from a new sender — allowlist our sending domain.
